Ride-sharing startup Rekab has launched in Jeddah, promising to make it easier for residents of the city to get around.

The company, which is headquartered in Riyadh, says it will offer its services throughout the Kingdom soon.

“Jeddah is a strategic city for Rekab and we are keen on serving its residents with our innovative ridesharing solution,” said Co-founder Michael Crickmore.

“We are confident that our service will provide significant value to the city by helping to reduce traffic congestion and promoting sustainable transportation.”

Rekab is an easy, fast, convenient and smart way to get around. Via is an on-demand, shared ride service that picks up multiple passengers heading in the same direction, keeping rides affordable and little more than the cost of public transit!
